My name is Marco Hesselink and as of October 1st 2018 I work as a sales representative for Sirius International.
I have been working in the chemical industry for more than 27 years, and I have held functions from the office, through sales, transport, supply chain, internal logistics and purchasing, back to sales.
I chose Sirius because we are on the bio-path. As a father of 5 children, I think it’s important to think about how the planet will be like later on.
We choose 100% Bio alternatives and I have noticed that that suits our customers.
I also chose Sirius, because I have heard from several contacts that the office staff functions very well. That’s fine as a salesman, while on the road, customers are bound to know that everything is being followed up properly.
Sirius has the name to be an innovative company, and after a few months I can only confirm that. What a beautifull line of products we have already figured out. I look forward to my commercial activities, making room for Leo Verboeket to introduce new innovations in 2019 as well.
Finally, with my complete supply chain experience, I hope to assist my new colleagues and certainly also our customers with any questions or problems. We do more than just sell a raw material.
