Briteframe GLDA is a phosphor-free chelate and therefore an anti-scalant. The raw materials for Briteframe GLDA types are of natural origin (sugar). This makes it even greener than Briteframe MGDA. Briteframe GLDA is a sustainable, OECD301-readily degradable chelant.
It functions at high pH. It shows synergy in combination with biocides.
It is eco-toxicologically safe and thus a green complex forming anti-scalant, replacing NTA, EDTA and phosphonic acids and phosphonates. It has synergetic effects with biocides. In bleaching systems Briteframe MGDA proofs a stabilizer for SPC.
